Anchor rod is a member system structure for rock and soil reinforcement.

By utilizing the longitudinal tensile force of the anchor rod body, the disadvantage of much lower tensile strength than compressive strength of rock and soil can be overcome.

On the surface, it seems to limit the detachment of rock and soil from the source.

Macroscopically, it increases the cohesion of the rock and soil mass.

Galvanized anchors Galvanizing refers to a surface treatment technique that involves coating a layer of zinc on the surface of a metal, alloy, or other material for aesthetic and rust prevention purposes. The main method used is hot-dip galvanizing.

Zinc is easily soluble in acids and can also dissolve in bases, hence it is called a zwitterionic metal. Zinc hardly changes in dry air. In humid air, a dense alkaline zinc carbonate film is formed on the surface of zinc. In environments containing sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, and marine environments, zinc has poor corrosion resistance, especially in high temperature and humidity environments containing organic acids, where zinc coatings are highly susceptible to corrosion. The standard electrode potential of zinc is -0.76V. For steel substrates, zinc coating is an anodic coating mainly used to prevent corrosion of steel. The quality of its protective performance is closely related to the thickness of the coating. After passivation treatment, dyeing, or coating with protective agents, the protective and decorative properties of zinc coatings can be significantly improved.

The main method used for surface galvanizing is hot-dip galvanizing.

Hot dip galvanizing is a development of the older hot-dip galvanizing method, which has a history of 170 years since France applied hot-dip galvanizing to industry in 1836. However, the hot-dip galvanizing industry has experienced large-scale development in the past thirty years with the rapid development of cold-rolled strip steel.

The production process of hot-dip galvanized sheet mainly includes: original plate preparation → pre plating treatment → hot-dip coating → post plating treatment → finished product inspection, etc.
